Creating a safe space for healing and encouragement
Our community is built on faith, respect, and compassion. These guidelines help us maintain a safe environment where everyone can share their testimonies and find encouragement.
- Honor each person's story and journey, regardless of background
- Use encouraging and supportive language
- Acknowledge that healing looks different for everyone
- Avoid judgment or criticism of others' experiences
- Remember that behind every testimony is a real person with real feelings
- What's shared here, stays here. Do not share others' testimonies outside the platform.
- Do not screenshot, record, or copy content from private groups
- Respect anonymity - do not attempt to identify anonymous users
- Do not share personal contact information of others without consent
- Report any privacy violations to group moderators immediately
- Offer support and encouragement, not advice (unless specifically requested)
- Share your own experiences rather than telling others what to do
- Use "I" statements when sharing your perspective
- Ask permission before offering suggestions or recommendations
- Celebrate victories and milestones with genuine enthusiasm
- Be present and listen actively when others share
- Use content warnings for potentially triggering topics (abuse, violence, self-harm, etc.)
- Mark sensitive posts appropriately so others can choose whether to read
- Avoid graphic or explicit descriptions that could be harmful to readers
- If discussing crisis situations, include resources for professional help
- Remember that our platform is not a substitute for professional mental health care
If you or someone you know is in immediate danger, please contact emergency services (911) or a crisis hotline immediately.
